This isn't so much a tech post, but more of a rant.

So, I got home Thursday afternoon and parked my new (to me) '94 rig in the driveway and came inside for a few minutes. Went back outside to shovel the ice and snow and I noticed a big ass stripe of brown through the snow. My junk was spilling all it's oil.

I checked the drain plug and the filter and it's not leaking there. Looks like the pasenger side of the oil pan. Getting to that in an IFS truck with passenger side diff is a PITA.

I have to take it back to the place I bought it tomorrow and make them fix it. It sucks 'cause now I have to drive the beater for a while until it's fixed. That's really not the best commuter car.

I saw that same potential problem with my tacoma. It's not broke yet but pretty nasty rust. Taco's aren't any easier to get at or fix.

Yeah, that's the easy fix.

I finally got my '94 truck back to the dealer this week, and apparently the problem is a blown head gasket. I never messed around with it enough to tell that's what it was, but that's what they told me yesterday. Oh well, that's what warranties are for.
