Does anyone know if a 15" rim can replace the stock 16" rims on a 2006 or a 2005? Its is a Pre-runner....

I doubt it. I know my dad put some 16"s and snow tires on his '05 which came with 17"s. Not too sure about going from 16"s to 15"s, but I bet there are a zillion posts about that on yotatech (http://yotatech.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1)

15's cant fit. The brakes are too big. Its hard enough to find aftermarket 16's that will fit.

also keep in mind that the 06 has an IN WHEEL tire pressure monitoring system. If you replace the wheels with wheels that dont have a similiar system your going to have a flashy yellow light until you pull the dash and clip the wire.

I know that toyota has a funny painted 16" designed for it. Also check south east toyota dealers (they do ALOT more dealer installed options than most of our local dealers do.)

Cool Thanks.. I was trying to get off cheap by getting a set of 15" rims so I could run TRUXS STS tires in the 15" range would be a lot cheaper.. Actually all the damn tires would be cheaper...
