I was looking to get a set of 4.88's put in the soon and was wondering who around here would be recommended and what I was lookin to spend for installation. I stopped and asked one shop in Winchester and they wanted 800 for labor alone. Is that steep or is that about the goin rate.

I can't make any shop recomendations, but for the price you were quoted, I'd just buy complete 3rd members for somewhere reputable like Randy's or something.

is that dropping tthe truck off, or dropping the 3rds off? most shops charge around d$265 for the gear work only, but you azdd up the removal anad re-installation of your 3rds anand it gets expensive
