I was studying the Delorme Atlas for VA. looking for a new area to explore and came across something on Pg.79, D-5 near Paris, VA., off of Rt.50. The atlas shows "unimproved road/trail" through the Blue Rdige Mountains. One of them is near an area called Buzzard Hill and Taylor's Hill. Has anybody ever heard of this area or had any experience with it?

I know that area along Rt. 50, but I've never been off road there. My guess is that those roads/trails are on private property; I didn't see anything in the Delorme atlas that labels it as "nat'l forest" or anything, and I don't remember seeing any signs or anything the last couple times I drove through there.

My dads got some property in that area, i've done a lot of exploring up there in my truck recently, and a lot on my dirt bike back when i lived at home, and i can tell you there really isn't much up there... there are a couple of cool spots, but really none of them are open to the public.
