i boght an 88 runner last april from a dealer,lost my copy of title have yet to get a copy from dealer say they can find the file yet what should i do or who do i call in Va

this happened to me with my ****. you need the vin number proof of id and thats it, ask for a duplicate title and they give it to you right on the spot

i didnt put it in my name yet thats the big problem im having right now if i have much more problems with this im going to sell it for parts and not finish it
this truck is in great shape but with no title not worth much to me dealer boght it from a repair shop to fix and i bought it from the dealer so title has been reasigned by dealer so i need dealer to get copy at dmv

Go to the DMV and show the VIN, and the Bill of Sale. They should give you one.

i had bill of sale with all title work in an folder lost all i did find a bill for tires in truck and call last owner of truck she is going to see if she can get me a copy of title it should still be in her name as the dealer just resigns it to seller should hear back from her on friday she also has a roof rack and other thing from truck she said i could have when i come up to get title

starting to think im going to sell my 88 runner for parts red w/grey int missing motor trany tranfer is in really good shape have d-shaft so whats it worth whole great body have pic's what to do??truck was 22re,5spd has air and all acessories let me know what you think or if you want it
