I have asked tons of questions and searched through many threads and I have decided to go with a set of Donahoe coilovers up front with a pair of upper control arms (still deciding on Total Chaos or Camburg there reccomendations?) A Deaver leaf pack in the rear along with Donahoe remote reservoir shocks. (already got wife approval :D ) I am going to save a SAS for an older truck.

I just need to figure whet tire/rim combination to go with. Probably black steal rims, and am thinking 33's. What is the advantage of running a 15" rim instead of a factory size of 16"? What would be the best tire for my soon to be suspension? Thanks in advance for your advice.

15's are cheaper. You just need one that will clears your brakes in the front. US Wheels model 84's worked for me.

Is your truck mostly on street? What kinda wheeling you into. Rocks need different tires then mudd. You want long waer or big loud ass tire that wear out in 15-20k?

I would like them to last long, it will probably spend more time on the street but I do take it off road, I do both rocks and mud. I like the rocks better but they are a longer drive for me. But I would have to say I will do mostly rocks with it.

I would say BFG's or goodyear MTR's but they are hard to keep balanced. The BFG's do have thin sidewalls but balance better.

Test fit the rims before you buy, if you go with 15 inch rims. The MTRs suck in mud.

So do the BFG's. There not boggers. But mud is evil.

I think I will start doing a lot less mud would the MTR's be better then?
