have you managed to break your front lock right? I broke one in the rear, and just got one for the front. I have seen the type of trails you run, so I figured if anyone has managed it, it would be you.

He's broken a few CVs, but the Lock Right is good. I helped him install it (and his rear locker), and I guess we got them in there correctly 'cause he hasn't had any problems with either one yet.

I broke my rear at the shear pin holes. The guys at richmond gear told me that it is usually rock guys that break them. My cousin broke one on his pre-runner w/stock 31's. They are an idiot proof install, so dunno as to why they broke.

nah i thinks its usually throttle jockeys that break them, i dont think they hold up to shock loads very well. TBH it depends on who you ask and when you ask them. tons of folks have ran them at one time or another and most end up upgrading once they break one, but with reasonable size tires you should be fine

fireman broke his crosspin as well, along with the rest of his diff too :D

if you can deal with them, and yer runnin small enough tires, they're great, but i will say that when im on the trails i try to shift into 2WD when turning tightly and that damn thing bangs and clicks somthin awful, i figured it would act just like the rear and it does but when those things are put in the front its tends to get annoying, i just deal with cause im not droppin 1k to lock an IFS diff

I plan on going SAS maybe next year. I had an ARB all lined up on the website, then kicked myself in the head for spending that much. I will drop the big bucks when I really build this thing. It is not my DD anymore, I bought a nice Avalon to get me back and forth to work. Lanc eis gonne set up the gears this week, dropping it off tomorrow. Can't wait to get out again
