OK, I was getting ready to register for Big Dogs when I saw Beaters post for Make-A-Wish. Both events are the same weekend. Who's going and which one are you going to?

I'll probably do MAW, since I've never hit up Rausch.

I've been thinking of doing the MAW instead of Spring Fling too.
Since I'm a member of the Krawlers I probably should :?
RC has 2 more camping areas than they used to, if a bunch of us are going should we try to claim an area for us?

Sounds good. I'll go ahead and pre-register for MAW. At least I won't be outnumbered by ****s 120:1 for this event. 8O
Claiming a campsite would be a great idea
Broderick, where did you run off to after the Saturday run at Big Dogs? I spotted you for a quick sec before the run. I cruised the campsite looking for you. You're like a ninja.

What the normal routine for getting a campsite? Is it first come first serve or do you have to reserve one? As you can see, Ive never been there.

Yes. There aren't necessarily individual camp sites, but rather a couple deisignated camping areas that will each hold a smal group.

I've never been either. I'm going to try to get there by 6-6:30 on that Friday. I guess as the date gets closer we can try to coordinate a meeting place and caravan up.

All -
If you are all going to grab a camp-spot, I would contact Lynn yesterday.
I'm sure that not many have "reserved" a spot as of yet but they will once we get inside that 30-day window.
I'll be camping at the Pine Grove KOA (Shower) with my family. I "should" be getting up there on Thursday night. I have to set-up the Toyota Cruiser Trail Teams on Friday and set-up the vendor spots.
Is everyone driving up or are some of you trailering up?
It's really great to see the support and personally... I thank you all!

I trashed one of my rear Chevy leaf packs so I split. I gotta locate a new pair before I can go. Also gotta drain and clean the gas tank. Somehow I got dirt in it. Started crapping out on the way home. I run multiple filters, so I just by passed the 1st one.
As for camp sites, the newer one that's a little below and behind the main one might be nice. More shade for one thing in case it's hot. The newest one, at the bottom of the hill, is too close to the road.
