You have a 85 truck with a CV boot?
We could try something new

Why not just go to RC? I was gonna suggest something for columbus day weekend(long weekend) if anyone was interested. Maybe that could be the October event? I would need some clowns to run blues with me.

If you want to go that far north, why not paragon. I just went to RC on Sunday and I remembered why I said I would not go back. The trails that they have are **** trails and suck for people that have a longer wheelbase. My dads CJ7 had to make too many 3 and 4 point turns to get through the trails.

Looks like it has some very good views. I think it would be a good place to go with stock trucks.

-Because i have not been there yet.
-Just because you don't like it, why should that deter anyone else from going???
BTW: list me as a maybe for the GWNF weekend, my sister is supposed to have her 2nd kid sometime that week.

I'm all game for a PA trip. For the new folks though, GWNF is close, and no one will damage anything.
Just a thought. Whichever, I'm there.

-My reg. cab has a much better turning radius than any **** i've seen.

I did not say do not go but what I think of RC. I think RC would be a good place to go if they cut there trails wider and gave more area around the corners. If you want to go then go, I was just saying that paragon might be a better place because most the trails are friendly to wide and long wheel base vehicles.

I know we are talking about running Crozet in Sept but why not in Aug. Their monthly ride is the same weekend you're talking about going. We can camp out their plus a bonfire at night.

I think maybe we should rule out Crozet, R.C., and Paragon 'cause I think this is more of a stocker/newbie trip.
Wahtever is cool with me though. I'll be there, wherever it is.

well crozet should be ruled out for stockers/newbie unless they want to run a few fire roads and than watch other people wheel. however, RC and PAP have trails for stock rigs.
IMHO we do finalize this before the end of the week.

I know what your sayin Paul. I forget sometimes that I got the short version of our trucks and most folks have the long version. I still would at least like to see that park at some point.

Why is Paragon or RC not friendly for stock vehicles? I had a good time on the greens and lower blues @ paragon. My truck is basically stock(mild lift).

Can we find more trails on the WV side and not run that standard bunny loops each day?
Is old Long run still closed?
What about the waterfalls at kephart?
I haven't been to G-dub since the last 4runner jambo was held there.
my g/f will be coming and i'll probably let her drive as well.
I think I can make that if it is still on, :smt064

Old long Run closed, The waterfalls at Kephart closed. We could actualy hit up some of the roads, and end up in WV. Anyone one that wants to play prerunner, I could show them a good time.
